We left the lovely Berunes hostel in the morning to go work at a different hostel, about four hours West..in a place called Vik. We are working for a couple of hours per day for free food and lodging. We are unsure right now about the kind of work we will be doing..but we think maybe cleaning bathrooms and changing sheets..getting breakfast for everyone, etc. We'll see.

Our drive was magnificent! Starting out, it was very rainy and foggy and we could only see a couple of feet in front of us. We also went through a sandstorm, and drove through a black sand desert.
After driving for some time, we happened upon a glacial lagoon! It was very very very windy..but we got to see a little seal swimming :)
We didn't get a picture of the seal :(
Back on the road, we found some cowboys herding sheep..on motorcycles and horses.
